Cracker Uppers Roasted Garlic Romano
Roasting garlic really brings out intense flavor. The added Romano cheese gives a great combination for your saltine seasoning. Take One plus 1/3 cup Canola Oil, blend with the seasoning mix in the enclosed zip top bag, add four sleeves saltine crackers, do the Roasted Garlic Romano shake and let sit overnight. Plan to eat the entire bag the next day!
This mix also makes great homemade croutons! There is enough mix for several batches of croutons. We use homemade bread, but any loaf will work. I make them in small batches to keep them fresh.
You will need:Three slices homemade or bakery bread (four slices if store bought).1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil. One tablespoon Roasted Garlic Romano seasoning. Cut the bread into cubes. Place in a large bowl. Add Olive Oil and blend. Add seasoning. Blend again. Place seasoned bread in a 9x13 cake pan or on a large cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown. It is really hard for me to wait until dinner to eat the croutons! They are so good!
